Gute ENGINEERING COMPANY OVERVIEW
Gute engineering provides Engineering, Procurement, Construction , Project Management and Dismantling of mining and metallurgical equipment mostly in the mining industry. From humble beginnings as the engineering arm of Airite Sheet Metal cc t/a Suntech Geomet Laboratories (Suntech), this department grew to become a standalone enterprise (now called Gute Engineering “Gute”) when its scope of services expanded. Gute is a fast growing Engineering company within the
African and metallurgical mining industries. Gute has links with developers of novel technologies and continues to play a role in providing practical solutions to its clients.
oUR BACKGROUND
The engineering division of Airite Sheet Metal cc (now “Gute”)’s responsibility was to support Suntech with the engineering services such as designing and manufacturing pilot plants as well as carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance on laboratory equipment. This division also offered similar services to
Suntech clients. The scope of service rapidly expanded beyond the normal borders of a laboratory support service when clients sought services of higher latitude owing to the superb quality offered . To date, this engineering division handles work of much bigger scope hence the decision to upgrade it into a standalone company (“Gute”).

ENGINEERING WORKSHOP FACILITIES
Gute owns and operates a workshop in Johannesburg, South Africa with renowned capabilities in mechanical and 3D draughting, structural fabrications, machining,
equipment assembling, commissioning and maintenance. To date, the workshop has has successfully designed, fabricated , assembled, and commissioned plants, water
and slurry reticulation systems in Africa. The workshop keeps a team of artisans ready to travel to our clients’ sites on short notice to attend to breakdowns.
